"Flight Line" — Rt. Capt. Kent Smerdon's book
Retired Captain Kent Smerdon presented his book "Flight Line" to the chapter — anecdotes from a career flying everything from dignitaries to nuclear weapons.
The RAA Toronto membership has the honour to listen to retired Captain Kent Smerdon about his book titled "Flight Line". Kent has several years with the Royal Canadian Air Force and Air Canada.
He entertained the members with anecdotes during his many years of flying — ranging from flying dignitaries such as the Governor General, royalty, and Prime Ministers, to carrying nuclear weapons under his wings. He read excerpts from the book which focuses on people and anecdotes.
Kent got the love of flying from his father who introduced him to aircraft — himself in the Royal Canadian Air Force.
